piAnizT_X Posted March 21, 2009 Report Share Posted March 21, 2009 (edited) Hi, I got a gf 9600m gt ddr3 mxm2 for my Aspire 7520g but the laptop doesn't wanna work with it. there's only a blackscreen! Morris Posted March 22, 2009 Report Share Posted March 22, 2009 I don't think the first acer germstone generations supports anything higher then 8600m GT from nVidia, as for ATi, it should be able to use HD3650. for your case, it is your motherboard compatibility, unless you know how to add new strings the supported video card list in the BIOS, there is really no other way to do it.
