fasondan
i wonder if keeping "core\shader" ratio constant improves the performance or not ? i usually try to keep "500\1250" ratio and set my clocks like "640\1600" or "600\1500" . fasondan
i push the limits of the card but i think 9700m gt clocks (625/1550) are much stable ,but i am not sure about the memory ,if anyone had an idea about the optimal memory clock ,please share . Morris
when I had my 8600m gt, having them uneven, especially when the shader is lower than the double of core, I experienced some weird stutter in games. but there are cards that comes with shader higer, I suppose having it higher is fine. fasondan
with 625\1550\522 core\shader\mem speeds 3D mark 06 gave 5696 points ,runs about 20 fps avarage fps . after making lots of tests temp was 65 centigrade degrees . i can rise the clocks up 660\1650\570 max ,got about 6100 points and runs at 21-22 fps but temp rise up to 82C ,so lower speeds are good enough to play and much more safer then higher clocks My system conf : p8600 at 2.4 ghz ,3 gb ddr2 800mhz ram ,9600m gt gddr2 at 625\1550\522 ,Vista Home Premium
