brownstonemr: just use the following.

"NVIDIA GeForce 9800M GTX" = Section003, PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_0608

I can't guarantee it'll work, but it should :)

That was all that was needed. Thx a lot!

Glad I could help :) Did the trick for my GeForce Go 7700 as well (I installed version 185.66)

185.66 !!!

OMG Seems like they would never take a break

Also thx for the modded version from u.

Now i can test it on my own.

My self-modded version did not work

Edit:

Looks great for me!

Get exactly same score in 3D Mark 06 like 182.46 from Dox

But this one is not optimised for Performance and at least same quality like 182.46 !!

Would be great if Dox could take this one or the 185.66 for a new release.

I think many of us would like it

I am slowly working on another project at the moment, but may take time to mod something if i have free time.

I'll test the new 185.66 and see what happens :)

Hey I'm a bit confused here, if I download the 185.65 driver from here can I install it on my laptop? Are these drivers already modded/cracked?

There is a link to a modded inf here but it's greyed out and not available. Could someone please explain? :)

The INF structure has changed. Pieter is working on it. :)

Ah ok thanks for the reply, I'm only asking because my lappy is literally crawling on the defaults and I've read those are much faster :-). So I'm a bit desperate ;-)

Any timeline or deadline for when the modded file will be available?

Thanks

I have a feeling Nvidia will be releasing some notebook drivers pretty soon as well. They've released these drivers with the 275 GTX and I have a guess they will do the same for the notebook 280M and besides, it has been a while since their last release for notebook drivers.

RivaTuner monitoring seems to read the GPU frequencies wrong - this is still an unsupported driver. For me 675/1350 instead of 625/1250. ATITool reads OK. I've seen that same error also with some other recent drivers, too.
