Despite the numbers these are a working update.

Don't know what nVidia are doing with name and version shown both seeming wrong.

fine.... if getting help here is indepedant to whether i write in caps or not..... fine... i wont use one single letter in caps!

i figured out by myself, as always, what the problem was..... as i never have gotten help here.

!now! my problem is.....

if i try to install new drivers, the screen goes black.... someone here told me "uninstall the drivers, then install new ones"

when i uninstall the drivers, screen goes black.

im literally stuck with the 182.50 modded inf drivers.

i installed the newest physix thing to enjoy the game "sacred 2"

but i noticed the game runs like crap...... i downloaded an nvidia physix demo (fluid demo)

and the freaking thing tells me "you need a geforce 8 series or higher"

but i have 9500......... so im thinking, as my drivers are a modded inf.......... physix is not being used... which is why the game performance sucks

what can i do? besides punching my fist through the laptop screen?

i need an hwql driver.... but any attempt to do so will result in a black screen........................

can anyone of you geniuses help me?

just a tiny hint...... a tip...... anything?

nvidia is seriously frustrating the bejesus out of me.

Here are our problems. Nobody here owes you a damn thing, you're being a complete smartass about it, and you're completely off at the very start. PhysX has little impact on your typical games, and wouldn't maker your performance "suck" if it wasn't functioning. I suggest you uninstall PhysX and reinstall it. Don't intentionally bad-mouth and smartass your way around, these people are doing everybody a great service here ._.

first, uninstall in safe mode, not just sitting in windows, if that doesnt work, do it again using the driversweeper tool, reeboot, let windows install default driver, reboot, install the driver of your choice. if you are having such a problem with a specific driver perhaps you should start your own thread instead of whining on a totally off topic thread? 182.50 were a pain for me to get rid of, but why not ask for help instead of bitc*? :)
