You will only be able to use OEM specific drivers. Other wise if you want newer , there is the modded driver thread, where you need to do some fiddling your self to get it to work on your machine. Warning can take many hours but you do get a many features not seen in original driver.
Cabarnacus
Added 6272 and 6274 Link to v10.0.6272 is set to v10.0.6267 by mistake. No big deal just a little integrity check. Guest Mike
XPS M1530/ Windows 7 Home Premium 32 bit To clarify, the issue is that my laptop recognizes that I plug in an external microphone, however, if I try to talk into it, the only thing that records is the internal mic, and when I go to "set up mic" it tells me there is an error "Wizard Cannot Start, make sure your audio hardware is working properly and check your audio configuration in audio devices and sound themes control panel"

Michael Marley
I have tried 6284 using my own modded INF, and it mostly works. All the audio I/O devices work and the equalizer/SRS stuff also works. However, it fails to properly detect the jacks in the control panel, which also causes the Andrea effects not to work for the array mic. Pieter, can you give modding this one a try? I think something may have changed.

Guest jpsmithdc
Hi folks, I started checking through all the posts on the OEM and modded SigmaTel HD drivers, and I haven't really seen any chatter on Toshiba. I just upgraded to Windows 7 Ultimate 32-bit, and the it correctly and automatically identified my audio device as the SigmaTel HD Audio Codec. I'm looking for a modded version with some extra features because on the Vista version of the driver I was previously using an audio mixer/equalizer was available and while the Dolby tab exists in the device settings, it is greyed out and unavailable to use. Here's the hardware ID: HDAUDIO\FUNC_01&VEN_8384&DEV_7691&SUBSYS_117904F1&REV_1022 Anyone have advice on updating?
