Guest Guest
Try "change flat-planel scaling" under the control panel. Anybody else having difficulty getting "full dynamic range" to work under "adjust video color settings" in the video & television portion of the control panel? I can't get the deep blacks that I could with the previous driver when using WinDVD. Thanks.
Guest Guest
I´ve installed this driver on my SMI GX600 with an GeForce M8600GT and it works great, but RiveTuner is unable to detect the driver. Is it my problem only or does everybody have it?

Shakey_Jake33
Can someone clarify, is the Windows 7 version of this driver WDDM 1.1? I can't see it mentioned on the Nvidia page, and there have been no WDDM 1.1-compliant 185.xx drivers yet.

Guest bluefox
Well I have now tested both the notebook and desktop versions of this driver in vista x64 and the notebook version has a slight edge over the desktop version. My laptop ran several degrees cooler and scored higher in benchmarks and also seemed to have slightly better quality with the notebook version. My specs are Athlon 64 X2 1.9Ghz 4Gigs Ram GeForce 8200M G Vista x64 premium. I would recommend using the notebook version if you plan on using this driver. Exile1975
if you are upgrading from an older driver then you might check in the nvidia control panel, the physx switch has been moved to a tab in there (along with sli if you have it)
