tsunami2265 Posted May 8, 2009 Report Share Posted May 8, 2009 (edited) Today i installed the new 185.85 drivers for my 9500M GS but the control panel button has disappeared in the right click menu. So I tried opening it by going in windows control panel and double clickong on nv control panel but it gives error that 'nvidia display extension cannot be created. Possible reasons: version mismatch.' I press on OK and than the cpl opens but another runtime error opens and nvcplui.exe will have to close. I reinstalled the drivers, removed left overs of older driver with driver sweep in safe mode but cpl still wont open :) Edited May 8, 2009 by tsunami2265 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

ijal182 Posted May 21, 2009 Report Share Posted May 21, 2009 Mine Acer GeForce 8600m Gt also can't open the control panel after installed the new driver.This is causing problems as I need to change the graphic setting for some games.But i can see the quality from my card is improving.Pls help us with this problem!
