How to mod an .inf

So I want to install the windows 7 rc, and therefore need windows 7 drivers for my geforce go 7200. Sadly the latest release for win7 for notebooks doesn't support the 7xxx series, while desktop, does, but I have a laptop.

So in short: Is it possible to modify the .inf of the latest desktop windows 7 nvidia release (185 or something like that) so that I have a functioning windows 7 video card, or am I stuck in vista?
