So I have to install the old one, v.8.09.04 first, the install this one? :)

I have the latest driver 186.08, can I use this with them?

You have to install the old ones ONLY if you have the Ageia Physx acceleration card installed on your laptop/desktop. Your Sony Vaio does not have one of these (only Dell XPS M1730 has) so you don't need to install the old driver. Just install this one. Forceware 186.08 (as far as I know) already has this version of Physx. Not sure though...
