AlanCB
I have a Satellite 5105-S702 laptop on win XP Pro SP3, and had the Motherboard & Video Card replaced by a Motherboard & Video Card from the equivalent European model, the Sat 5100-603. Before using the DMI Update Utility to update the DMI string on new motherbaord, I would like to check the DMI string of the new motherboard (in particular the model number), using the DMICFG Utility (dmicfg.exe) which I have downloaded. Would appreciate if someone could advise me exactly how to use the DMICFG Utility to do this, without screwing up anything. Thank you AlanCB
