iaTa
I can't get this to install on Win7 x64. Tells me there are files missing when using the manual install method. EDIT: Upon trying a second time it installed Ok. Odd. Edited June 16, 2009 by iaTa
Korn1699
My 3DMark06 score was about 500 points lower with these than the notebook drivers that recently came out. Temps about the same..
darktalker
this drive works very well on my laptop with Geforce 8600 GT in Windows 7. I don't experience the crash (both 186.03 and 186.08 crash my Game) any more when doing alt+tab with Age of Conan. FadeToBlack
yes, as always. I was actually asking if it will crash when using the sleep function.
Guest Zak84
Does this driver work also on vista?
Korn1699
Does this driver work also on vista? Yeah, I had it on my laptop with Vista. I went back to 186.03 though because it seemed to have better performance for me. I did have to use driver cleaner to go back because I had errors just installing 186.03 again, which I haven't seen before switching between drivers that just had a modified inf. YG007
Is it just me, or does anyone else notice that the brightness is a little higher than normal on these drivers??
net.cat
are they better than 186.03 ?
FadeToBlack
/quote:I was actually asking if it will crash when using the sleep function. Try it and see. I couldn't confirm that as Explorer would crash anytime I clicked on the Desktop area, so I'm back to 186.03 (Windows 7 7201). Guest Guest_Stefan_*
Hello All, I am trying this driver with win7/64 bit. I use the modded inf-file to get it working with my mobile card. I have a Lenovo T61p with NVIDIA Quadro 570M chip. The install runs through normally (with no problem) but then in the summary it tells me that no modifications were made to my system. And the system afterwards still has the default drivers. Does anybody have any tips or tricks for me? Thanks and regards, Stefan

Guest Guest_STEFAN_*
Try to install them via have-disk method. It may work. I tried to update drivers in the HW manager. There I was asked to specity a directory where the drivers are located. Is this what you mean? Also I deleted the graphics card and scanned for new HW and then pointed the PC to the driver directory. But always the installation/update failed with "access denied" although I was logged on ad admin and also started installations allways with admin rights. I even switched off the UAC to be sure that there is no compatiblity issue with it. Rgds, Stefan
lediur
Does this driver have any noticeable improvement over 185.85? I'm using a 9800m GTS.
MyCapitalMy
I have Windows 7 RC x64 and NVIDIA 8600M GT. and 179.67 driver behaves better than 190.15 driver because the index of performance in games +0,1 Windows 7 download 179.67 from update site
Guest Guest_TheSaltonSea_*
Is there Quadron NVS140 in this inf ? :)
Guest Guest_Jakerz_*
I just upgraded to this driver to try and keep my the 9800M GTS in my Gateway to work right, I kept getting "video driver stoped responding but has recovered" BS when playing WoW, this driver seems to fix the problem but every time I start the game up or come back from Alt/Tab'd I have to take off the 3D settings, is there a way to disable this so it doesn't use it? Thanks, Jake
projekt1
Keep crashing with BSOD after trying both install methods. Running W7 64 Bit, 8800 GTX SLI. Also tried the nvidia site same problem, always have to revert to restore point. Any suggestions??
kodaki
I've installed Windows 7 couple days ago. Everything was great since I've tried to connect my LCD - 19" Samsung 940BF. Screen is blinking all the time(half of second I can see desktop, next 2-3 seconds black screen). I've connected laptop to 37" Samsung LE37A551 and it was exactly the same. Then I was using drivers 186.03 with WHQL. I've tried also 190.15 - same problem. Yesterday I've installed old drivers for Vista x64 from my laptop cd and the blinking problem was gone, but I can't set on 37" screen fullhd resolution(there is only 1600x1200 option). Control panel don't have a lot of options in comparision with Windows XP(there is no manual resolution changer). What should I do? Can anyone recommend me some other drivers? Anyone had a same problem?
