Hi Andy,

Thank you for reply. I have read that post but i really need to have XP on that machine. My software need XP but only XP.

Is there any possible way to edit inf files or drivers for my device?

%iHSWGT15D% = iHSWD_w81, PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_041E ; "Intel® HD Graphics 4400"

In theory, you could edit the XP driver's .inf-File:

Try to change this line:

%iHSWGT1D%       = iHSWGD0, PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_0402 ; "Intel Haswell HD Graphics - GT1"

to:

%iHSWGT1D%       = iHSWGD0, PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_041E ; "Intel® HD Graphics 4400"

But if I remember correctly, another forum member already tried this and the drivers still didn't support his HD 4400.

Best thing you can do is to report this issue to Intel - and hope for updated XP Haswell graphics drivers. But as XP will be EOL from 8th April on, I wouldn't hope too much here...

Best regards,

Andi

Does running Win7/8/8.1 in XP compatibility mode not work ?

I also tried modding INF for older GMA and BSOD for my efforts

On what system did you experience that problem? I installed these drivers onto my Laptop with mobile HD3000 (running Windows 7 x64) and could update Windows Experience Index without problems.

Working fine here too.

It was installed on a Core i7-2820QM, Intel HD3000, running Windows 8.1 x64 (fully updated). The previously installed version, 3347, didn't display this issue. However, I wonder if Update 1 could've had something to do with it.

Aside from this issue, performance seems to be relatively similar, but I might reinstall them again and making sure I take care of any leftovers. Never had the need to do so with most Intel IGPs but it's worth a shot.

Can anyone upload the x64 version to a reliable download service? Station-driver says

Sorry, you have reached your download limit

I didn't download anything from station-drivers in the last weeks....

Are you using a proxy? My internet provider's proxy gets rejected on some sites.

No proxy. It works now anyway.

It was quite slow yesterday, took probably a minute to get the download to start.

Working fine here too.

the intel 3517 drivers worked perfectly on my family Dell Inspiron 620 desktop computer with 2nd gen Intel Sandy Bridge IGP on Win7 SP1 x64 edition (core i5-2310 CPU - Intel HD Graphics 2000)

no crashes with WEI assessment either.

Might be related to Windows 8.1. Aside from the WEI assessment crash, everything's working properly so I'm not overly concerned.
