Some files says AMD64, could be a x64 version. I'm downloading the 114,6 MB file for HD4000.

Yes, indeed there is also a 64-Bit Version of these drivers availiable for download: 20510550_01b1393873bb7abc9bbce488cbd43b9cdb97c062.cab (57 MB)

Added download links to my post.

Best regards,

Andi

If you want a full-featured setup, you can unpack it into the "Graphics" folder of the 2857 set. Setup will install the 2867 driver correctly, along with the other features (audio, etc.) from 2857.

Experience index go down one more time, for aero desktop score go for 5.8 to 5.3 with 2867 drivers on windows 8.

Yes i have hd 3000. i tested both driver and they are better than 2867, but compared the perfomance with windows 7, is 40% worst, for example, in windows 7 COD MW3 runs at 65 to 80 fps max , but in windows 8 runs 39 to 42 fps max, same settings. :(

For Windows XP x32:

DriverVer=09/21/2012, 6.14.10.5427

...

The included readme.txt and install.txt are "unreadable", most likely Japanese.

These drivers are usable for all SNB and IVB models:

[intelGfx.NTx86.5.1]
%iSNBGM1% = iSNBM0, PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_0106
%iSNBGD1% = iSNBD0, PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_0102
%iSNBGM2% = iSNBM0, PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_0116
%iSNBGD2% = iSNBD0, PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_0112
%iSNBGM2P% = iSNBM0, PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_0126
%iSNBGD2P% = iSNBD0, PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_0122
%iSNBGD3% = iSNBD0, PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_010A
%iIVBGD0% = iIVBD0, PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_0162
%iIVBGM0% = iIVBM0, PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_0166
%iIVBGD0SRV% = iIVBD0, PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_016A
%iIVBGD0GT1% = iIVBD0, PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_0152
%iIVBGM0GT1% = iIVBM0, PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_0156
%iIVBGD0SRVGT1% = iIVBD0, PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_015A

hello i was wondering what the best driver would be for my X4500HD. ive seen people say they get 10-15 fps boost in some games. i downloaded one from somewhere else before but it caused issues on my laptop. i think it was a really old driver tho.

i am just looking to get a little better performance out of this chip.

i have Win7 Profession 32bit

thanks for your replies

15.28.7.64.2867 officially available as Windows 7/8 release: http://downloadcenter.intel.com/Detail_Desc.aspx?agr=Y&DwnldID=22020〈=eng&OSVersion=Windows%207%20%2864-bit%29*&DownloadType=Drivers

I already tested this driver: http://communities.intel.com/message/169220#169220

Here the changelog: http://downloadmirror.intel.com/22020/eng/releasenotes_gfx_2867-64.pdf

This is strange:

Several optimizations to reduce the system power consumption have been added in this driver. These optimizations might result in minor performance drop in some games while yielding power savings. The user can choose to override these power optimizations by selecting the “Maximum Performance” power mode in Intel control panel or “High Performance” mode in the Windows power setting.

Yes these game performance drops in some games are obvious from my test but I have a desktop machine and I don't care about 1-2 watts less power consumption. How can I change it to Maximum Performance? There is no such option on a desktop system.

Driver support for GMA 4500hd ended long time ago. I would use the latest.

As mik already mentioned, driver support for this model has ended. Latest driver for Win 7 is 8.15.10.2555 (15.17.18) from October 2011.

See post 38 for details and download links.

Thanks for your replies! Are those modified drivers or are they official Intel drivers? I have the latest available from their site, but I can't recall the driver version.

Btw, do either of you have any tips to improve game performance on this card?

Thanks

If it is not in the Intel Graphics Control Panel, then you should be able to find it in Control Panel - Power Options - Change Plan Settings - Change Advanced Power Settings - Intel ® Graphics Settings - Intel ® Graphics Power Plan.

Just tried the 9.17.10.2867 drivers from this package, and I see _no_ drops in performance when the power management is set to Maximum Performance. In my Windows 7 system (Core i5 2540M with HD3000), both Aero Graphics and Gaming Graphics have a rating of 6.3 - the same as with my previous drivers, 8.15.10.2778. And for the ones who need to know: GPUCapsViewer says it supports OpenGL 3.1 with 130 extensions.

@avbohemen

I'm primary using my desktop system and there is no such a power plane setting. This setting is available on my Notebook however. On a HD3000 the best Windows score gave me 15.22 drivers (2361, 2372 etc).
