path0s
I'm wondering if there is any possible way to get a GO 7900GS to work with CUDA? I've reflashed it's bios to open up the factory disabled pipes with no ill effects. Windows now reports it as a 7900 GTX. I guess I'm wondering if there is a way to reflash the bios with a different id and info so it looks like a CUDA able board but still keeping it in line with the other capabilities of the 7900. Or is the chip just not capable of doing CUDA at all? Also, has anyone seen any in depth discussions about CUDA anywhere else they might be able to point me to? Some place a question like the above wouldn't be out of line? Thanks much!
Korn1699
As far as I know, you need at least a 8000 series or better, if not a 8600 or better. NVIDIA has a lot of CUDA stuff on their site. The book GPU Gems 3 has a section on CUDA and different applications you can use it for, with example code.
