I bought a 7950 gtx from the mxm site, but having installed it i just get a black screen on start up with no monitor output. I have a m9700 alienware, which came with stock SINGLE 7900 GS 512mb. I put in a single 7950 GTX 512mb, following the success of others (http://www.notebookforums.com/post3066474.html), but the problem is it starts up with normal sounds but no image appears on the screen. I have a daughter (master) card in the primary slot. I've swapped the old card back and everthing works nicely, so the old hardware is not damaged. I tried uninstalling the 7900 gs before i put in the 7950 gtx. Is there something i need to do to my computers bios to make it work with the new 7950 gtx?
