Guest Nick
Hi, so yeah my situation is as described in the title, i have a studio 1555, with idt audio, and I just installed windows 7. I cannot get the audio drivers working though, and instead get the generic error... But before I reformatted they worked great. I'm sure its the problem that I went from Vista 64bit to Win7 64bit. If anyone can help me it would be greatly appreciated. I couldn't find anyone else who even has the same laptop that I have.

Guest bibold
Hi, I've modded the windows 7 driver for alienware to adapt it for our Studio 1555. See the file attached. http://rapidshare.com/files/273075491/studio_15_idt_driver.rar.html bye
netRAT
Dell now offer official Win7 x64 driver support for the Studio 1555. I haven't personally tried the IDT audio driver offered on their page, however the package also seems to contain a 32bit version so Win7 x86 users should benefit from this too. ftp://ftp.us.dell.com/audio/R214419.exe netRAT.
