Looking for a new whql mobile driver. I'm using my PS3 for playing right now so it does not matter. Guest HardcoreHarry Posted August 12, 2009 Report Share Posted August 12, 2009 Hi, I have been using 186.03 until Windows Update forced this driver version upon me (I have an Asus m51sn with a 9500m gs). The powermizer does not work for me with this driver in Windows 7 Professional 32bit RTM (Not cracked, legitimate MSDN version). I tried powermizer switch v1.2 which worked for me with 186.03 but it is not working with 186.31. I have since rolled back to 186.03 and all is working again. I do not recomend these drivers to anyone with an Asus laptop containing a 9500m gs, unless you never wish to run on battery (A luxury I don't always have at uni). I will be trying the 190.40 drivers 2nite when I get home. The reason I want to upgrade from 186.03 is I get the non-smoth animation bug when maximizing/snapping windows etc, it looks really terrible, but everything else seems to work fine on 186.03.
