MaxerPL
I'm having a problem with that drivers because powermizer doesn't work. I need it because I sometimes using my notebook only with battery. Now i'm using 186.03 drivers but i want use newer. What can i do if i want good working powermizer in 190.56 drivers ? My video card is 9600M GT.
K4m1k4z3
It's not the Powermizer but DWM (Desktop Window Manager) and Aero Effects in Windows 7 that force the 3D clocks. You'll have to disable it as I did. I explained how to do it in the 190.56 x64 thread I think.

Why cant i have it with newer drivers ? Edited August 9, 2009 by MaxerPL
rolloLG
My video card is 9600M GT. Can you confirm this BUG with 186.03? http://forums.nvidia.com/index.php?showtopic=99814 It affects all Forceware >=179.x unfortunately... For this reason I'm stuck with 175 or 176 on my GeForce 9600M GT. Edited August 9, 2009 by rolloLG

Covert
The 190 series seem to have optimized Aero quite a bit in Windows 7, especially windows snap.

Read more carefully the bug as reported on nVidia forum. There is no prob when you quit the game. The problem, only with some games as that mentioned there (freeware 6MB to download), happens after the system resumed from sleep or hibernation: resolution is forced to that of the last played game (assuming you have played in a lower res)! Not immediately when you quit and go back to the desktop. To test this problem with GF9600M GT and Forceware >=179: - download and run this little freeware game http://www.asahi-net.or.jp/~cs8k-cyu/windows/mcd_e.html (800x600 I guess) - quit the game and go back to the desktop (mine is 1280x800) - put the PC in sleep mode or hibernation and resume At this point, when you resume from sleep, hibernation or even after a reboot the screen resolution suddenly changes to that used by last game played! :) This bug in the drivers has been introduced since 179 up to latest 186. Forceware 175, 176, 177 have no issues. Edited August 10, 2009 by rolloLG

It not supplied with this drivers. You can get it with full drivers pack from nvidia.
