Macbook Pro Woes

Recommended Posts

I have a 2008 pre-unibody Macbook Pro with a 512mb NVIDIA GeForce 8600m GT video card. When I use my system with OSX everything works great. However, when I use bootcamp and switch over to Windows XP Pro (with service pack 3) my system periodically crashes.

I get the blue screen of death with the following error message:

A wait operation, attach process, or yield was attempted from a DPC routine

*** STOP: 0x000000B8 (0x00000000, 0x00000000, 0x00000000, 0x00000000)

From all of my research I have determined that it most likely is a driver issue that is causing my problem. I came across this site in hopes of finding a replacement driver to stabilize my system but don't understand how the drivers are classified and hence which ones to use. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
