Thircase
Hi :) I have tried to install Latest/MODDED IDT Drivers from this page in my PC XP&Win7 (Motherboard ECS A780GM-A v1.1) with no success, I think is because the model of my audio chipset or other related is missing from the INI/SYS/CAT FILES. The drivers from ECS are so OLD (2008/11/27) and I like to use always latest drivers. Acording to Everest my soundcard is SigmaTel 92HD206X @ ATI SB700 - High Definition Audio Controller It is possible to "MOD" the driver and make it usefull for my MOBO/Chipset? Thank you :) Edited August 12, 2009 by Thircase

erp-ster7n
Don't bother getting MODDED drivers for your ECS A780GM-A v1.1 board people. Download IDT HD Audio 115 package (contains v6.10.6207.2 drivers for Vista/Win7 and v5.10.6099.8 drivers for WinXP): http://download.ecsusa.com/dlfileecs/driver/mb/sound/idt/IDT115.zip (released Sept. 9, 2009) Install those drivers instead. good luck! erp-ster7n
Don't bother getting MODDED drivers for your ECS A780GM-A v1.1 board people. Try this one instead of the previous one (I think it's v6.10.6233.234 for Vista - Windows 7): http://download.ecsusa.com/dlfileecs/driver/mb/sound/sound_IDT.zip Or you can also try IDT HD Audio driver version 6.10.6233.243 on the ECS A780GM-A motherboard [this one resolves an audio jack detection problem] http://www.ecsusa.com/website2008/Support/Support_FAQ_Detail.aspx?MenuID=49&LanID=0&FAQID=2006031788
