Hi,

After a long search to see if anyone has gotten the above card working under Vista x86 @ Super-G speeds (108mb), and having tried a whole host of drivers...

atheros_v7.2.0.93

atheros_v7.3.1.42

atheros_v7.3.1.42 with v1.15 inf

atheros_v7.3.1.73

atheros_v7.3.1.73 with v1.15 inf (failed install)

atheros_v7.3.1.109_v1.15 (best signal strength, using currently)

DWL-G520_V7.1.0.91

and Windows Update drivers

...still can't connect at 108mb when XP did it so readily. I have a compatible router (D-Link DSL-624M) with matching chipset, and as before, worked in XP.

Have tried all above drivers with the three modes the router can transmit (Super G no Turbo/Super G dynamic Turbo/Super G static Turbo) with Super G no Turbo on different channels, and still no 108mb.

Having looked at the modded inf files, there's no mention of a roamrate @ 108mbs, nor a roamrate for G (just making assumptions here, please feel free to correct).

Card detected as AR5002G using the 7.3.1.109 drivers. and Hardware IDs:

PCI\VEN_168C&DEV_0013&SUBSYS_3A131186&REV_01

PCI\VEN_168C&DEV_0013&SUBSYS_3A131186

PCI\VEN_168C&DEV_0013&CC_020000

PCI\VEN_168C&DEV_0013&CC_0200

Anyone have any clues? Doesn't look like the RoamRate makes a difference after looking in the advanced settings grrrr. Really anyone have an idea?

much appreciated
