ratcheva Posted August 27, 2009 Report Share Posted August 27, 2009 I have a Vista-32, HP Pavilion HDX9000 computer with sound IDT High Definition Audio CODEC: Driver Provider-IDT, Driver date- 05.09.2007, Driver Version-6.10.5607.0 Hardware IDs for IDT STAC 9271: HDAUDIO\FUNC_01&VEN_8384&DEV_7627&SUBSYS_30D4103C&REV_1002 HDAUDIO\FUNC_01&VEN_8384&DEV_7627&SUBSYS_30D4103C My microphone line in (a jack in front) is not working when I plug a microphone or from my “tape out” of my amplifier, since I want to transfer my LP records to computer. The microphone Array (2 microphones surrounding the built in web camera) are working. I tried all HP staff recommended steps, including the driver update from the HP web site without success. In control panel under sound only two recording devices are shown: Microphone Array- working properly and Microphone (the jack in front of the computer) does not work in spite of the all possible changes in it’s properties.
