BarThu
Greetings, After installing Windows 7 Prof x64 everything with WiFi was working correctly. Yesterday I wanted to try Vista x64 driver with Connection Utility. In the device manager it shows that device is working corectly but in fact it is not working at all. Uninstalling connection utility didn't help and windows cannot find any driver at the HDD or in windows update. It is not shown in ipconfig and when I clicked to "check for solutions" it has shown "probably driver problem" or something like this. So seems he doesn't like the vista driver at all but the question is why can't he install the default driver just like he did right after installing Windows 7? Any idea what could be done to fix it? //BT
Phnx
Have you tried downloading the latest driver from the intel website?
BarThu
Of course - there are not windows 7 drivers there yet and latest vista driver f*cked up the previous driver for good. We have discussed it on one of the Windows7 forums but no "fast" solution so far is found. http://www.sevenforums.com/drivers/25457-problem-intel-wireless-wifi-link-4965agn.html //BT
BarThu
We managed to solve the problem - drivers and services were working correctly but Zone Alarm was causing the trouble. Uninstalling this software solved the problem. //BT
