donbabbeo
I've an HP Pavilion 1080el with GeForce 9600M GT (driver version 186.81 downloaded yesterday from the official site) and IDT Audio (version 6.10.6225.0). I've tried to watch some video via the HDMI port, but only the video work fine, audio doesn't work at all. The output is set to use NVIDIA high definition AUDIO (driver version 1.0.0.51) but no audio. I use Vista Home Premium 64 bit. Can anyone help me? Some months ago it worked, i was using a geforce driver with modded inf (downloaded here, don't remeber what version), probably this is an issue of compatibility between geforce driver and IDT Audio (automatically updated by Windows Update)? Galdere
Reinstall the nVidia HDMI Audio Driver. http://www.nvidia.com/object/nforce_vista64_1.00.0.37.html
donbabbeo
Done. Removed the previous one and installed the version 1.00.0.37, nothing appen. Same situation, no audio at all, only video. Any other advice?
Galdere
You say you have selected HDMI in sound options? Is the audio working on the output device?
donbabbeo
Yes, if i use laptop speaker or headphone output it works fine. HDMI audio is selected, and 100% volume... no audio at all.
Galdere
Well if it has worked before with the same settings, I would try it with a different lead.
