mobilenvidia
I'm just uploading these now. Didn't have time to update the driver posts (work calls) Will add XP versions as soon as I get home. UPDATE First a big thanks to The Grinch and Korn1699 for pointing these out to me this morning :) As promised, XP versions driver posts are up. Modded INFs for XP made and uploaded. These drivers are the same as before they were WHQL. All WHQL means that they have been tested Microsoft and approved. If you use a modded INF then there is no point in reinstalling as the modded INF will void the WHQL status. There was another INF added to the Win7 versions for Dell and only support the 9600M GT, the NVIDIA INF supports a heap of desktops. Enjoy :) New in Version 191.07Adds support for OpenGL 3.2 for GeForce 8, 9, 100, and 200-series GPUs and ION GPUs. Accelerates performance in several gaming applications. The following are examples of improvements measured with version 191.07 drivers vs. version 190.62 drivers (results will vary depending on your GPU, system configuration, and game settings): Up to 12% performance increase in ARMA 2 Up to 8% performance increase in Batman: Arkham Asylum with GPU PhysX enabled Up to 50% performance increase in Call of Juarez: Blood in Bound with SLI enabled Up to 14% performance increase in Fallout 3 (indoor scenes) with antialiasing enabled Up to 10% performance increase in Far Cry 2 (DX9 version) with antialiasing enabled Up to 34% performance increase in Prototype with antialiasing enabled Adds SLI support for Aion, Darkfall, Dawn of Magic 2: Time of Shadows, Dreamkiller, Fuel, Majesty 2: The Fantasy Kingdom Sim, Need for Speed: Shift and more. Includes numerous bug fixes, including the following key fix (additional bug fixes can be found in the release notes on the documentation tab): For graphics cards supporting multiple clock states, 3D clocks correctly return to 2D clocks after exiting a 3D application. Users without US English operating systems can select their language and download the International driver here.

Guest Guest
How do these compare to 186.82? I don't remember seeing much about these drivers' performance before they went WHQL.
Guest superceleron
well i since 186 drivers that cant enable physx, and no i dont have a ati card. I have a hp pavillion dv9684ep whit a 8600gs 256mb, dunno if nvidia its blocking physx on hp laptops. Enyone whit the same type of laptop, its having the same problem? Allready tried 2 diferent OS, vista and win7 its the same so it can be only a driver problem or limitation, since dox 185.85 its working ok. You will never get these to install as WHQL as you don't have a Desktop GPU or a Dell 9600M GT :) You will need to hope that either MSUpdate or HP release a WHQL for your rig
rolloLG
You will never get these to install as WHQL as you don't have a Desktop GPU or a Dell 9600M GT :) Uh... so it can sense the difference between an HP GF9600M GT and a Dell GF9600M GT? Didn't expect this... You will need to hope that either MSUpdate or HP release a WHQL for your rig Yep. Official nVidia mobile drivers are still stuck at the very buggy 186.xx... :) Better to install 191.07 even if not WHQL anyway. They work fine for me. Guest Pumpkins
I have a 9600m GT but it's in a Macbook Pro... Would this driver work even though it's not the Dell version?
mobilenvidia
I have a 9600m GT but it's in a Macbook Pro... Would this driver work even though it's not the Dell version? You can just use the modded INF that comes with the driver post, this should work better as it doesn't have all the dell specific OEM settings. Uh... so it can sense the difference between an HP GF9600M GT and a Dell GF9600M GT? Didn't expect this... Yes they do, the SUBSYS numbers (after PCI_ID) do this sorting of brand/models etc. Yep. Official nVidia mobile drivers are still stuck at the very buggy 186.xx... :) Better to install 191.07 even if not WHQL anyway. They work fine for me. Thats right and why we are here, so the masses can enjoy the latest :)
Guest Walo
Hi. I have problems with 9650m gt. I am using 182.46 and every later drivers makes BSOD after a few minutes. I tried beta, whql (both official and with modded inf's) and DOX too. Same result... I have Win 7 x64, newest directx, PhysX, intel chipset driver. K4m1k4z3
Maybe it isn't a driver-related problem?
Guest Walo
I don't think so, because older drivers (than 182.46 DOX) were OK. On Vista x32 I had the same problem. Any ideas?
Guest Walo
I forgot to add that my laptop model is Asus X57VN (based on M50).
