Hello! I have a MSI GX600P notebook with an NVIDIA GeForce 8600M VGA card in it. If I install any NVIDIA driver to the OS, the display shows little green squares on the lighter areas. I attached a picture on which you can see what am I talking about.

Please help me with this problem.

Thank you for your help,

kilix

Doesn't work for my 9600M GT, installer with modified inf reports no appropriate driver found.

Haha, my bad. Had to search for hardware changes in the Device Manager and then restart first. It works now, even PowerMizer functions.

Btw, if somebody complains that his display doesn't work, that not even the Bios is displayed anymore - check if he has a secondary display active resp. ask him to unplug it...

Hi there :)

Id' like to know if there is a way to modify the modified .inf XD in order to allow my GeForce 260m GTX to allow the following video mode : 1680*1050@120Hz

I've just bought the Samsung 2233 rz screen and it would really e a pity if I couldn't enjoy it as I should :)

For now, the only video modes supported are xxxx*xxxx@60 Hz :'(

I'm completely new to these stuff so please ... be gentle ^^ :P

Just go to nvidia cp, manage custom resolution, create, and rest should be straight forward

Hi all!

Oddly enough, the modded inf doesn't seem to identify my 9800GS card...

Will not try to mod it for my purposes unless anyone have any other ideas.

...

Well thank you for your reply, but this didn't work ... I tried to manually chose 120Hz, but it ends in 60Hz anyway when I click OK :'(

I think the problem is most likely situated here :

Merci d'avance !

I also got another problem ...

I can't manage to adjust my screen brightness in any way with those last drivers :'(

Search on different forums tried wierd programs, nothing works.

In order to adjust brightness I must use the drivers the NVidia website (186.81).

Anyone know what to do ? :'(

Thanks in advance !

I have the same problem. Also I have problems with a lot of freezes with the moddded drivers :-( That's the reason why I use the original Nvidia driver (same version as you 186.81)
