Guest Justin
Hey guys! I recently had a weird problem where I needed to replace my laptop's video drivers, but my manufacturer's supplied drivers were telling me I didn't have the right card (when I did). So I used one of the drivers I found here, and it works like a charm. There's just one tiny problem though, my video card is listed in the device manager as "%NVIDIA_G94.DEV_062B.1%" instead of "Geforce 9800M GS" like it should be displaying. This also crops up in things like :) May Cry 4's benchmarking test, where it lists your PC's specs: the video card is that same garbled string of code. Is there any way to change this or will I just have to live with it? Potentially relevant information: Laptop: MSI GT627 OS: Vista 32 Graphics Card: GeForce 9800M GS Driver version: 174.74 (with modified INF)
