LaptopVideo2go Facebook Logo/Picture challange

I'm getting some grief over the very poor Logo I put up in Facebook :)

To tell the truth I stole it from the just as bad one I made for Twitter.

Here is a challenge for the artistically minded.

Is there someone out there that can whip something up to place on Facebook as our logo there ?

A picture of the right format and size, that encapsulates what LaptopVideo2go is all about.

Full Kudos will be given and the knowledge that at least 119 :P people will get to admire it.

Any help here appreciated, I'm the first to admit I'm pretty $#@% at graphic design :)

The avatar as above is 50x50 but the actual logo can be bigger.

Facebook allows the Avatar (50x50) to be chosen from within the larger logo/picture.

So a bigger picture can be made but the Avatar with the picture needs to be 50x50.

The Avatar is most, the picture is only seen on the main page.

The Avatar is 1:1

The picture can be any ratio

By all means give it a whirl, much appreciated.

(just in the bizz for about 1year)

Oops sorry for the double post, first time posting here.

nice 3d what program u use i for one use 3ds max and maya still learning though.

can avatars on facebook be animated cos i have never used facebook so i have no clue. if so what animated file format that they allow i suppose they would use .gif files but i find them horribly crude but if need i will use it.

Allrighty then got a static version and it could be altered into a animated GIF, but don't know how yet :P

(yes indeed I love the female curves :) )

So the sequence should be 1A / 1B / 1C / 1B [and repeat] whoever wants to help or point me in the right direction? :)

Very good, but wouldn't it look better with whole gray background and without the silver bar? :) Maybe it's just me, I'm minimalistic.

I'm so embarresed that I only just found out that the bars resembled not only a laptop but also a number2 :P

OMG... that's why my previous entry was only created with PhotoShop CS4, for the next idea I'm combining 3worlds: Flash10/PS-CS4/Daz3D

Here's a simple test, but I think (with the idea I got in my head) i need almost a week time :) because only this render allone took 5minutes pure CPU power

So my question is, how long do we got for sending in pics :)

Whoops sorry guys uploaded the wrong one :)

and noticed I was still a guest even after all these years, thus I couldn't edit my posts and for that reason (and others :) ) I finally became a registered members!

This one took 5minutes (now the dimensions are right 1:1)

there are several reasons it takes so long:

1.my laptop specs Core2Duo 2Ghz 4GB DDr3 etc.

2.the resolution 1200x1200

3.the setting 12raytrace / 16x shadow-passes

I know i should use less high settings when rendering a test-example ... but I'm addicted to detail :P

EDIT:

Ok here one quick before going to bed...

Your 2nd is nice, how about maybe with the green to (light)green/white radiant is even beter?

do you mean the background?

here you go if you meant background

lv2gfinal3.png

and that would explain it the rendering time, i only have ddr2 ram but i have a heck of a lot. Plus a quad-core processor
