Mahou86
Hey guys, here is my setup nVIDIA GeForce 8600 GT w/512MB Intel® Core™2 Duo T7700 2.4GHz Processor w/4MB L2 On-die cache - 800MHz FSB I'm looking to play dragon age. Usually I install the newest driver available, but i've been starting to wonder if that is the best path. I see options for an 18x and 19x driver. What is a good driver to be running if i'm looking to get some gaming in but keep the heat stable. Thanks Edited November 10, 2009 by Mahou86
Guest CONSCRIPT
most people recommend DOX's 185.85 but theyre starting to get old since they came out way earlier in the year. right now im using the 187.66 on my 8600m and theyre pretty good. i havent really monitored temps with these drivers since rivatuner doesnt work but most people say these are fast drivers but u can only get so much out of the 8600m
