But i can only use 64 mb video ram from that. How can i up it to 812? In bios it hasnt any configurat?on to change that. Please help me. First Thanks a lot for the reply. I know that sony do that but i dont wanna to share and want to disable it. This is the image When i install xp it goes up to 256 but i want to use windows 7. You do not need to disable it,Vaio only shares the system memory with the video card when it is really needed.For example in games....etc. Otherwise it does not share it!! See my picture But something wrong with your windows,because 8400m gt has at least 128mb video memory(dedicated),and as you have written it goes up at XP to 256mb. Including how many dedicated ram you have My GPU-Z shows: Clipboard01.bmp Here: http://www.techpowerup.com/downloads/1709/mirrors.php Choose a mirror and download it. Have you changed your operating system to Windows 7? Which windows has it got originaly? XP or Vista? Also check this: http://www.atomicmpc.com.au/News/152724,sonys-vaio-laptops-had-faulty-nvidia-chips-after-all.aspx Unfortunately your Vaio probably won`t work properly with Windows 7.
