mobilenvidia
Not too late to get one of these for xmas :) Performance Specifications Rotational Speed 5,400 RPM (nominal) Buffer Size 8 MB Average Latency 5.50 ms (nominal) Seek Times Read Seek Time 12.0 ms Track-To-Track Seek Time 2.0 ms (average) Transfer Rates Buffer To Host (Serial ATA) 3 Gb/s (Max) Physical Specifications Formatted Capacity 640,135 MB Capacity 640 GB Interface SATA 3 Gb/s User Sectors Per Drive 1,250,263,728 Physical Dimensions English Height 0.374 Inches Length 3.94 Inches Width 2.75 inches Weight 0.26 Pounds Metric Height 9.5 mm Length 100.2 mm Width 69.85 mm Weight 0.117 kg This is a 9.5mm drive and will fit any Notebook with a SATA drive. Where as the 750 and 1000GB drives are 12.5mm high so be wary as these won't fit most Notebooks My self not really tempted to upgrade to one of these from my current 320GB drive, would prefer 1TB+ At 5400RPM and only 8MB cache this drive won't set any benchmark record, except the largest volume 9.5mm drive out today. In NZ retailing for NZ$262 (~US$189) For detailed specs head on over here
Squall_Rinoa89
ugh to bad it's 5400RPM and not 7200RPM, i wont bother picking it up for my laptop but it's nice that HD Size keeps rising for laptops.
