GeForce Go 7400 and Windows 7. Or not?

Hello everyone!

First of all, I want to apologize if I'm posting in the wrong area... First timer :P

I own a Sony Vaio VGN-C2Z, with a GeForce Go 7400 (yep, oldy).

I've installed (not upgraded) Windows 7 Ultimate today, and everything seems to be ok, except I can't seem to get my graphics card to work, and am stuck with VGA disply.

My device manager doesn't even show the NVIDIA card...

Tried to install original drivers from Sony; video 1 driver folder has some igfxzoom.exe that does nothing but display a couple of error windows (I think, since they don't really show anything), and video 2 folder has a couple of uninstall exe's, but no installer.

Tried to update the driver directly from the device manager (update, pointed to the supposed driver's folder video 2). Install finishes ok; reboot and the new Windows load goes fine, only to get a black screen when the login was supposed to kick in... :)

Yeah, tried to log in any way, and by the sound of it, it worked, but still no video!

Tried NVIDIA, but they don't support Sony Vaio :)

I'm lost here; I just installed the same Windows 7 on a LG laptop with some ATI card and all went well after I installed the driver!

Please HEEEEELLLLLLLPPPPPP....

Thank you so much

(Ho, sorry for my english :w00t: )
