Silvers24
I own the VGN-FZ180E, and nvidia says GPU's they support is the 8400MGT, so I download it, thinking they finally supported the GPU. But yet, the same old crap. How come they say they support it, but not let me install the drivers? What sense does this make?
Korn1699
I think there are usually issues with their drivers and Sony laptops. Its in the notes on their "Supported Products" tab. Try the drivers on here with the modified inf or get them from Sony.
Silvers24
Oh, I used the ones here. It was just making me really confused. Edited January 6, 2010 by Silvers24
Korn1699
If you just get that nothing was changed when you install the drivers, you will probably need to uninstall your current ones then run drive sweeper or something like it in safe mode to completely remove the driver than retry the install. They support almost every OEM notebook EXCEPT SONY :) so yeah... stick to the ones from the Sony page or use the ones here... but directly from nVidia site wont work
