quipster
I'm sorry to break the bad news, but the xi 2528 does not have an MXM slot. This has been discussed in detail in the German amilo forum. According to the datasheet, FuSi claim the notebook has MXM, when in fact it has an AXIOM Module in it (yeah very weird; a Nvidia product with the former Ati standard..)!! In short, you can only insert the proprietory Fujitsu card. You can always try the "baking oven trick", to bring the card back to life and I've now read quite a few success stories about it. I once brought an Ati X1400 back to life with a heat gun, so nothing is impossible...

Can I buy a new GeForce 8600m gs and replace the old one?

Can I buy a new GeForce 8600m gs and replace the old one? I finally replaced my 8600m GS with a new one that i ordered from ( http://www.fujitsuspares.com/ ) It's half price than if you order from the official site but it takes too long , maybe a month and a half!I also found this ( http://global.ebay.com/ATI_Radeon_HD_2300_FSC_Amilo_Xi2528_Grafikkarte/400132488894/item ) It's the only solution!
