Hypo Posted January 11, 2010 Report Share Posted January 11, 2010 Hi, I own a Alienware m9750 with dual 8700m GT graphics cards. Recently my master card has been having some problems and for some people with the same issues on the desktop versions of the card it was fixable by using them in a different slot. I thought I'd give it a shot but after doing some research it appears the cards have a different BIOS, so my question is, is it possible for me to flash both cards ( master -> slave and the slave -> master ). If it is, is there anyone here who could give me highly detailed instructions on how to do so ( incluing backing up both the Slave and Master bios ). The slave BIOS isn't up for download anywhere so i'd need to use the backup from the slave card to flash the master into a slave. Alienware support hasn't exactly been very helpfull so I thought I'd try it here. Please only post instructions if you really know what you are doing and prefferably have already tried it out.
