It refuses to install with the original INF settings. To use this even possibly for ASUS Notebook owners who's machines are supported in the INF, grab the modded INF. I've got this working now (well it does on my machine) What pain in the %$%#$ this driver was. I think it only affects the x64 version, but x32 will be same fix. Guest Icy Posted January 12, 2010 Report Share Posted January 12, 2010 yup they are uncompleted or currupted..trying to get it working for 4 hours and only result is that i managed to do install process, but it fails with nvlddmkm.sys isnt digitally signed. And to get the install process wirking, I had to replace setup.exe and 2 setup dlls with files from 188.25 and half a files are without dll extension. really dont know what these drivers are. (setup or Device manager) I'll see if I can modify the INF to allow for this issue. Seems to be a file missing in the files from ASUS. Guest maurice Posted January 13, 2010 Report Share Posted January 13, 2010 It very well has to do either way something with the nvidia drivers and or the microsoft stuff (running win 7 x64 ultimate) in my suppliers forum there are serveral people having the same problems with the same hardware. funny thing it worked perfectly and startet someday after windows update and a new driver from nvidia... so incase i format my system forbid windows update and install an old driver, everything works perfectly, but i want windows updates and the latest driver :) Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

After installation I have got: "Windows cannot load the device driver from this hardware.
