I'm trying to get a video driver for a Toshiba Satellite A70 (PSA70-RW100E) to run under Win7. The card installed is ATI Mobility Radeon 9100 IGP. Doesn't work with Win7 and Toshiba only supports this laptop up to XP. It defaults to Standard VGA Adaptor. I tried a bunch of other ATI drivers, but couldn't get any to work. Could you offer any advice? I can also attach the original XP driver if it would help. Guest Sedgr Posted November 12, 2010 Report Share Posted November 12, 2010 I had some luck installing from this driver. http://cdgenp01.csd.toshiba.com/content/support/downloads/sp30vidx.exe Extract to a folder. The driver you're looking for is under the 2kXP_inf folder. C2_17350 is the one I used. That seems to work for the ATI mobility radeon 9100 IGP. It wont automatically detect, but if you click the Have Disk option, select that driver, the 9000/9100 shows up and you can select it from there. It'll warn you that its not guarenteed compatible, but you can use it anyways. Got this Toshiba Satellite A70 with ATI Mobility Radeon 9100 working at 1280 x 800 this way. This driver doesn't work with anything that needs the graphics card itself (DirectX, etc.) It gives a BSOD with one of the driver DLLs. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
