According on Acer latest driver, the system uses hybrid technilgy Most recent driver for your GPU architecture is 342.01 Unfortunately NVIDIA forgot your SUBSYS_ID in the INFs, so you would have to use a modded INF Driver 258.96 is not available for Windows 10 which you named in your system specs (because it's from 2010) https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/drivers/windows/258_96/winxp-258-96-whql-driver/ https://www.nvidia.com/de-de/drivers/windows/258_96/win7-winvista-32bit-258-96-whql-driver-de/ https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/drivers/windows/258_96/win7-winvista-64bit-258-96-whql-driver/

Can you help me with that? is there any complete guide? i dried to modify the inf files on that drivers, drivers installed but the gpu not working. even by modifying the 258,96, by isntalling the driver i lost the intel driver which made a conflict with loosing resolution and i wasnt able to play my game that i used to play with the manufacturer latest drivers (acer 187.45 vdidia drivers) which are the only that work

Aristodikos
Well, after installing the 259 driver with the modded inf file, i saw nvidia recognized correct but in intel gpu what the yello mark that not working properly, the screen resolution changed from 1366 to 1024 without be able to change it. I dont know if i modded correct the inf file so propably i hope the problem to be there. in any case i am using now the working method which means im using atm the manufacturer's (old) drivers. Intel hardware id : PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_2A42&SUBSYS_02001025 nvidia gt 240m dardware id : PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_0A34&SUBSYS_02001025 there are many inf files in the display folder, not wure which one to change and there is not any inf named same as the oem drivers
StefanG3D
I found the 258.96 notebook link and it reads Note: The following are not supported in this release: - Hybrid Power technology with Intel chipsets. Same note with first R250 driver So the chipset limits you to older drivers, not the GPU I'm afraid R190 is the last series you can use
