Nautis1100
As it turns out Nvidias new Optimus technology and drivers may very well work on newer Hybrid Graphics notebooks. ZonksS2k, a user on another forum, has gotten it to function on the new (VPC-Z11 series) Vaio Z notebook. Optimus of course disables use of the built in Dynamic Hybrid Graphics switch and currently has a couple of quirks but all in all seems to be functioning. All that may be required to upgrade to Optimus from Hybrid Graphics may be a 200M, 300M or Fermi GPU. I am currently looking for users with an Asus UL30VT, Alienware M11x or other Hybrid Graphics notebook who want to test Optimus on their own system. Instructions on how to get Optimus to work on the new Vaio Z along with a modded INF and some screenshots can be found in my new section in the forums here: Optimus Drivers on the Vaio Z (and other newer Hybrid Graphics notebooks?)
