mobilenvidia
Added support for Active State Power Management This only applies to Vista and Windows 7. The above is only applied to Mobile GPU's, and so far only in 198.05 Active State Power Management (ASPM) allows individual serial Links in a PCI Express fabric to have power incrementally reduced as a Link becomes less active. ASPM is defined in PCI Express Base Specification.ASPM has been incorporated into PCI Express as a method to better manage system power consumption. Due to the serial technology that is used in PCI Express, ASPM is unique to PCI Express and is not present in conventional PCI or PCI-X. Your thoughts on this are welcomed. Oblox
Sounds an interesting power saving feature if it works, so this will work in all drivers using this inf or still only the mentioned version?
mobilenvidia
It will be implemented in all future INFs (currently only in 198.05) unless the masses rebel and it's not well accepted
Oblox
I'll look out for that in the next 256 series release then and see if it makes a difference at all.

Rustem Azeri
Your GPU is supported in the modded INF, did you REPLACE the original INF with modded one ? Thanks. Yes I Replace INF. BUT ForceWare 257.15 Give A Eror(Driver ?s Detected But when loading give a eror about control center When I Load?ng ForceWare 197.45 Is Good BUT than my grafik card memory become 224 MB (256MB OR?G?NAL) MY GRAF?K ID (NVIDIA_DEV.0A75.02 = "NVIDIA GeForce 310M " ) IN INF IS NVIDIA_DEV.0A75.01 = "NVIDIA GeForce 310M " THNAKS Edited June 12, 2010 by Rustem Azeri
mobilenvidia
Thanks. Yes I Replace INF. Trust me if the driver won't install it's not because of the 01 its something else. All Mobile GPU's use the same routine and if they work yours should too. mobilenvidia
Don't use the Windows Performance as a guide to how well your machine is doing. You really need to use a more specialised Benchmark for that.
