ATI Catalyst 10.6 WHQL Display Driver

Recommended Posts

The ATI Catalyst™ Software Suite 10.6 contains the following:

• ATI Radeon™ display driver 8.741

• HydraVision™ for both Windows XP, Vista and Windows 7

• Southbridge/IXP Driver

• ATI Catalyst™ Control Center Version 8.741

Caution: The Catalyst™ software driver and the Catalyst™ Control Center can be downloaded independently of each other. However, for maximum stability and performance AMD recommends that both components be updated from the same Catalyst™ release

Caution: The Catalyst™ Control Center requires that the Microsoft .NET Framework version 2.0 be installed. Without .NET version 2.0 installed, the Catalyst™ Control Center will not launch properly and the user will see an error message.

I have an older laptop running an ATi mobility radeon 7500

If you can get that working with newer drivers I'll be forever indebted to you =]

I had an old Latitude with a M11 I think.

Did mod that, but I've not looked at Detonators for a very long time.

They were very hard to mod

Yea, I've not been able to get the latest ones working through hours of hard work. The best drivers I found were from 2008.

I think working modded ATi drivers are much more valuable now because Nvidia offers notebook drivers for almost every card.
