random hard reboot with 8GB RAM after nvidia driver install

You might try installing the nvidia driver on ubuntu. If it fails, there, it will give a lot more useful information than Windows will.

I'm testing with 6 Go and the driver nVidia from this morning

until now, there is no crash!!! system is stable

I test it during 72 hours of use without manual reboot or shutdown

if you have any ideas... you can share :)

Nice to know everything's working well now. Couple of questions what's 6 Go, and which nvidia driver version are you using now? Is it not crashing on windows or Ubuntu? Did the problem only start occurring after the RAM install?

French? 6GB in English :) I wondered what's up when I saw some laptops to be sold with 6 GB. Perhaps related to this?
