I've bought an Acer laptop and since it has switchable graphics I found that I couldn't update the drivers anymore using the ATI website. I now have to rely on Acer to shurn out their driver updates, which really sucks! Does anyone know a way to force new drivers to install but keeping the switchable graphics function??

Thanks

Well, usually its pain in the arse...as far as i am aware, there is a 2 drivers in package - One ATI's and Second One your switched graphics. After ATI Installer has done installing, its automatically launches the 2-nd installer.

The Best idea of mine so far is to download latest Catalyst Display Driver and eject it instead the Original Presented One. Of course, you have to "dance" with INF file a lot, comparing your original inf with Catalyst's one..

I managed once to inject the newest driver only on x86.
