Arkymedes
Hello all, I'm very sorry for bothering everybody here since these forums have plenty of instructions of how to modify your own inf. But for the life of me I cannot modify the INF for the 260.99 x64 and make it work. The nVidia installer always stop after the initial check and choosing the method of installation (custom or express). Anyway, if any good sould could help me, here it is my info: Hardware ID (second line, as requested in other threads...) PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_0DF0&SUBSYS_51301558 Strings NVIDIA_DEV.0DF0.01 = "NVIDIA GeForce GT 425M" NVIDIA_DEV.0DF0.02 = "NVIDIA GeForce GT 425M " Original INF attached (259.39). Thanks very very much for all the support! NVCV.INF

Guest dweller
Try editing nvam.inf. Just change section were hardware ids are, under [NVIDIA_SetA_Devices.NTamd64.6.1], for example change Section082 (which does'nt support Optimus) into Section092 (which supports it). Works fine with mine 4500MHD and external GTS450.
Arkymedes
Thank you so much for the insight. It did work after editing the nvac.inf from the official nVidia 260.99 Win7 x64 version of the driver. Here it goes to anyone who needs it: nvac.inf
