GeForce GT 130M, black sheep GPU?

I'm wondering whether the GeForce GT 130M GPU is no longer eligible for NVIDIA Support? Most of the laptops using the GPU does have numerous plaguing issues regardless of make and model.

This fact has become increasingly alarming ever since the newer drivers are released and caused crashes on this GPU. (Starting from 25x.xx up until the current official release, 260.99)

The most common issue for this GPU with newer drivers is sudden and unexpected random hard freeze, especially those running on Windows 7. (including me myself, I'm using one and a half years old Lenovo Y450)

Any suggestions?

Further info (some threads dating almost a year old, with issues remained unaddressed and unsolved.)
