Lemon Posted February 4, 2011 Report Share Posted February 4, 2011 Hi hi! I have lurked on these forums a while and am a long time user of the gfx drivers for my m1210. Now I am having issues that I think you guys can maybe help with so I finally registered properly! I am going crazy trying to find out how to connect my m1210 to my A/V amplifier in order to get 5.1 sound. I know the Sigmatel stac 92xx sound card is capable of it. Has anyone got experience of using the s/pdif adaptor and if so could you help explain what i need to do to connect to my Yamaha RXV467 amplifier for 5.1 surround sound? I also believe it is possible to connect via the dual headphone jacks and the mic jack? how would i also connect that way to the amplifier in order to get 5.1 sound? What cables do i need for both these ways and does one have benefits over the other?? I'm so confused now.
