MrMrMan
Hi, I have an Asus K61IC laptop that has a 9600M MXM-II in it. I've seen 4670 MXM-II cards that will fit in this laptop and give me a pretty big performance upgrade (assuming I can find one); I would not have to change the heatsink cooling either. But will this require me to modify the bios of my laptop for it to be properly recognized? If so, how would I do this? The motherboard chipset, for this model, I believe is a 730i. I appreciate any helpful knowledge on this.
Guest dar
Go on site bios-mods.com. Ther's thread on the forum "Option Rom Modding Requests" with Asus vga bios mods. And since Your Asus is based on Nvidia chipset and have AMI bios there are hidden overclocking options in there. Guys on this same forum will help You unhide them aswell.
