On my Device Manager I have an Unknown Device. I tried to update and it said it was an non-compatible Midiport Device.

Let me guess, Windows 7 x64?

If it is and that driver is the correct one then you are out of luck, I have a A8N-SLI motherboard with similar problems (no x64 midi drivers) and the fix for that is turning off the midi port in the bios so you dont get that error in the devmgr

EDIT: I found a beta driver for my mobo (may appply to you also) going to test it out today
