phoenix1972 Posted March 9, 2011 Report Share Posted March 9, 2011 Was wondering what is the best video driver people have been using successfully with their XPS 1730 with Dual 8700 Video Cards? I'm currently using 258.96. I've had no luck with ANY 26x version. Any time I upgrade to a 26x release, the computer will after a period of time, sometimes immediately after the previous failure and I have to go into Safe Mode, either locks up, the screen goes black or a blue screen. As soon as I go back to 258, NO PROBLEMS. Wondering if it's worth going to the 259.x with the Modded INF file or should I stick with 258. Not sure what, if anything, going to the 26x version gets me. Aside from headaches. Don't have/need the 3D code since as far as I know, my card can't handle it. Thanks Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
