bobrharris Posted May 7, 2011 Report Share Posted May 7, 2011 (edited) Hi, I have a recently acquired Lenovo W520 notebook with Quadro 1000M discrete graphics and Intel integrated. In various discussions, I see the Lenovo T410/T420 can drive as many as 4 external monitors but the W520 cannot (2 only). The difference is that the T420 has Hybrid Optimus where the W520 is just Optimus. Is Hybrid Optimus a function of the hardware, device drivers or both.
